“All the world’s a stage.” (William Shakespeare)

After reading Julia Donaldson’s picture book The Gruffalo (and seeing the animated film based on the book by the same title), one cannot but be impressed by the main character, Mouse, who manages to scare off much bigger and much more dangerous animals (Fox, Owl, Snake, and eventually Gruffalo) by using its wit and cunning. In our English Drama Course (in school year 2013/2014 organized for the fifth-graders) we decided to bring the story to the stage and perform it for the school community. Here are a couple of photos taken at our premiere:

We are looking forward to our next performance! 🙂
